FCIP Engage in-person workshop on Thursday 27 March, 12.30-5pm
Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London WC1R 4RL (map and travel info)

You are invited to the Flood and Coastal Innovation Programmes (FCIP) Engage in-person workshop where we will be discussing the topic of legacy.

This will include project-based legacy amongst the communities you’re working with, and how we can work with the Environment Agency to embed learning. We’re excited to be joined by Jacqui Cotton, National Community Resilience Manager at the EA.

To kickstart the afternoon, we’ll meet at Conway Hall for a free lunch and networking opportunity. The first part of the workshop will delve into quick-fire presentations and meaningful discussions on topics including:

The second half of the workshop will focus on embedding learning. This will start with a presentation from Jacqui Cotton followed by Q&A. We’ll then explore how we can collect, process, and embed learning from the FCIP projects in break out groups.

We’re looking forward to seeing you. Please let us know you’re coming by registering your attendance. We’ll also ask you about your dietary requirements, so we can pass these on to our caterer Woolley’s in London.

We’d also love some help:

  1. To ensure that we design this workshop to suit your needs we will be start a small working group (very light touch!) to support us in designing the workshop and to help us facilitate break-out groups on the day. Please get in touch if you’re interested.
  2. Have you started to think about project-based legacy? We’re looking for projects to give a short presentation (max 5 mins) to share their ideas and thoughts with the group.
