What’s in your local waterway? New water testing sessions scheduled
We’ve got some new dates for water testing and wildlife-spotting sessions with Strandliners; everyone welcome!
Friday 30th August at 6 pm – Hydneye Lake, Eastbourne
Meet at the Shinewater Park entrance, Larkspur Drive (What3Words: caring.bridge.common)
A walk part way around the lakes, looking out for wildlife, with some simple water quality testing.
Sunday 1st September at 11am – Pevensey, Salt Haven and Langney Sewer
Meet at Pevensey Recreation Ground (What3Words: pollution.loft.flux)
Simple water testing from two waterways while looking out for wildlife.
Friday 6th September at 6 pm – Langney Sewer
Meet at the bridge in Tanbridge Road (What3Words: sing.smashes.sums)
This will be a simple water testing and wildlife spotting event.
Saturday 7th September at 2 pm – Shinewater Lake, Eastbourne
