“Both projects went really well and we are delighted with the planters.”

What did students ask for?

120 students in years 3 and 4 were engaged with during the initial workshops, in which they shared ideas of a dynamic and playful space incorporating many interactive elements such as cascading water, boats, fountains, water slides and pools.

What did staff ask for?

Emphasised that placement of SuDS planters should be carefully considered to maintain safety and cause the least amount of disruption.

What was delivered?

  • One SuDS planter
  • 708 litres of water storage

In addition to this, several bespoke elements were incorporated, which included: two bench seats, two cascading pipework elements as requested, one open pipe with boat toys for the students to interact with, one stencil, and one art installation which incorporated the school’s logo.
